I work on film and commercial productions, specialising in historically informed costume design adapted to the practical demands of contemporary sets.
For projects with Easy Hell Production, I co-created costumes alongside Sandra, Nati, and Aldona. My responsibilities included costume concept development, silhouette and material selection, and adapting garments for camera movement, continuity, and performance, while maintaining historical accuracy and visual cohesion.
Hairstyling was handled by Paulina and her team, with additional hair work by Ludwik Ksawery Sudawski, ensuring a consistent visual dialogue between costume and hair.
For the commercial campaign “Hity Markizy”, produced by Papaya Films, I collaborated again with Sandra, Nati, and Aldona to create costumes that merged historical references with contemporary advertising language, supporting narrative clarity, rhythm, and on-screen impact.
My practice bridges rigorous historical research and hands-on craftsmanship with the realities of film production — tight schedules, continuity requirements, and close collaboration with directors, art departments, and performers.
(Occasionally, costume steps beyond the backstage — but some stories are best left for later.)
Costume Design & Consultation for Blik
For the 10th anniversary film Blik, set in the 18th century at the historic Jabłonna Palace, I created the bespoke gown for the character Vanessa and collaborated with the costume team and Sandra Burak to consult on the remaining costumes. The project combined historical research with creative interpretation, ensuring that each outfit reflected the elegance and atmosphere of the 18th-century setting while supporting the narrative of the film.
Costume Design & Consultation for Blik – Dance Shoes
For this installment of the Blik series, set in the 18th century at Jabłonna Palace, I designed and crafted the period-accurate dance shoes for the main character, Vanessa. I also collaborated with the costume team to ensure all outfits were historically informed and visually cohesive, combining research with practical considerations for movement and performance.
Costume Design & Consultation for Blikomania
Blikomania celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the Blik series, set in the 18th century at Jabłonna Palace. Across the series, I designed Vanessa’s gown, crafted her dance shoes, and collaborated closely with the costume team to ensure historical accuracy and visual cohesion for all characters. This project brought together research, handcraft, and storytelling, highlighting the elegance and atmosphere of the 18th-century world throughout the films.
Costume Design & Consultation for Blik – Carriage Scene
For this installment of the Blik series, set in the 18th century, I designed and crafted costumes for the carriage scene, where each lady pays for herself. Working with limited visibility of the coachman and the constraints of the carriage, the costumes required careful adaptation to maintain historical accuracy and elegance while supporting the narrative. The project was both a creative and technical challenge, offering a unique opportunity to bring the characters’ presence to life.
Costume Design for Hit Markizy Commercial
For the commercial campaign of Hit Markizy cookies, I designed and created two key costumes: a peach-colored gown inspired by Madame Pompadour and a blue gown based on a museum object from the 1880s. The project combined historical research with creative adaptation, ensuring that the garments reflected the elegance of the period while fitting the visual style of the advertisement.
Costume Design for Markizy at Home
For this short film, set in a contemporary home, I designed costumes for the Markizy characters, portraying them as unconventional and playful markises. The project required balancing historical references with imaginative, modern touches, highlighting character and humor while keeping the designs visually striking and cohesive for the film’s setting.
